A new anime titled ‘Zega Pain STA’ has been announced, serving as a sequel to the television series ‘Zega Pain,’ and is set to hit theaters during the summer of 2024. The teaser trailer for the ‘Altermoda Edition’ features Hal Welt, portrayed by Kengo Kasai. The original cast of ‘Zegapain’ will return, including Shintaro Asanuma as Sogol Kyo, Kana Hanazawa as Ryoko Kaminagi, Ayako Kawasumi as Shizuno Misaki, and Romi Park as Mao Rushen. The original story is by Hajime Yatate and Takehiko Ito, with direction by Masami Shimoda and the script by Katsuhiko Takayama. ‘Zega Pain’ originally aired from April to September 2006, following the story of Sogol Kyo, a high school student caught in battles with giant robots in another world. The ‘Zega Pain Reunion Project,’ which began on August 31, 2023, offers the opportunity to relive ‘Zega Pain,’ including a rerun of the television series and a screening of the prequel, ‘Zega Pain ADP.’
